In the craziness of kittidom and kids still home from school I have gotten a few things done that could be considered productive…

Okay, past rant and concerns about penname issues aside (I’ve decided after all of the wonderful advice to say screw it and continue to use Moondancer Drake for everything until I do the YA/MG stuff) I am moving on to a new and most over due task. Completing my Nanowrimo manuscript from last year.

Bloodstained Innocence by Moondancer Drake... Word count: 66,088

I have to take a break and do a round of edits and then off to the beta readers it goes. I can't believe I finished it. Whew, I never thought I’d finally say this, but…

…the first draft of Primal Magic is completed (sequel to Ancestral Magic). Now if I can find a couple more beta readers willing to tackle the 68,045 word manuscript, I can have it out to the publisher by end of August and reach my goal. Wow, this feels sooooo good.
